La replica del virologo in prima linea contro i no vax: “Sempre più in alto”. Burioni smentisce di aver preso soldi dalle case farmaceutiche

More attacks against the virologist Roberto Burioni. Su Twitter l’utente Samuele Rizzo ha pubblicato un fotomontaggio nel quale il medico compare imbavagliato davanti a una bandiera delle Brigate Rosse, come l’iconica foto di Aldo Moro, e la scritta: “Attento prezzolato a libro paga della GlaxoSmithKline”. La replica di Burioni: “Sempre più in alto (mai preso un centesimo da GSK)”, per poi aggiungere nei commenti: “Cosa vogliamo farci? Sono i tempi che la storia ci ha dato da vivere, e dobbiamo viverli a testa alta”.

Burioni ha incassato la solidarietà di esponenti del Pd. “Ci aspettiamo una rapida e netta dissociazione del governo, che ha alimentato con le sue decisione un risentimento contro la scienza – afferma il capogruppo del al Senato Andrea Marcucci – Professor Burioni fights to defend human lives, M5s-Lega con le loro decisioni dissennate le minacciano”. 

“Ho saputo che vai al mare al n… prego di non incontrarti e in cuor mio spero che affoghi! Sotto il post una serie di commenti violenti e altre minacce da parte di attivisti no vax. “These are fanatics who do not have a rational approach to the problem, e finiscono con l’esasperare i toni. Quello che stupisce è il fatto che io mi limito a sostenere quello che dice la scienza, non prendo posizioni politiche, ma due più due fa quattro”, ha replicato Burioni in un’intervista a The Rest of the Pug. “
