Joint prevention of corruption in healthcare. ANAC-Ministry agreement signed

It was signed today, August 2, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health in Lungotevere Ripa in Rome, a Memorandum of Understanding betweenNational Anti-Corruption Authority and the ministry itself.

The meeting was attended by the Minister Roberto Speranza, and the President of Anac Joseph Busia.

The agreement it is aimed at strengthening collaboration between the parties, and at promoting joint initiatives for the prevention of corruption and for contrasting the occurrence of maladministration facts.

Busia's statements

"With this commitment signed with the Minister of Health, we want to consolidate and strengthen the culture of transparency and legality in the health sector", declared the Busia President. “We also intend to guarantee the correct implementation and application of the legislation on public contracts, also with reference to the areas of intervention of the Pnrr”.

Among the objectives of the memorandum signed today is also that of implementing good practices in the context of initiatives for the progressive digitalisation, simplification and re-engineering of procedures in the health sector, also with reference to proximity networks, structures and telemedicine for territorial health care, provided by the Pnrr.

To encourage joint work, a joint working group will be set up with agenas, l’’Agenzia nazionale per i servizi sanitari regionali.
