Terni football. The vice president of Unicusano's board of directors confirms the conclusion of the operation. Closing on July 15th. We are talking about a company based in Bologna and Pomezia.
After the preview given yesterday on TV by Stefano Bandecchi, is now Unicusano, owner of Terni, to confirm the sale of the club. Stefano Ranucci, vice president of the Board of Unucusano at TAG 24 explains: “Last night the negotiation for the transfer of all of Ternana Calcio's shares from the Niccolò Cusano University to an entrepreneur at the head of an Italian pharmaceutical company was successfully concluded. Among the various proposals received, the choice fell on who provided the University with greater guarantees, not only economic but also managerial "
The closing – he adds – is scheduled for July 15 and in this period Unicusano will be available to ensure maximum collaboration and make the transition as natural as possible. Unicusano will always be linked to Ternana and its fans, not only for the presence of Stefano Bandecchi as mayor of the city but for the sincere affection that has consolidated over the years in all its aspects". The rumors would lead – but there is no confirmation on this – to the Bologna-based Alfasigma group.

The businessman Stefano Bandecchi, born in 1961, he is the founder of the Niccolò Cusano University, established in 2006, and currently holds the position of President of the BoD at the Roman University. He has been mayor of Terni since 31 May 2023. He has been the owner since June 2017 of Ternana Calcio of which he is the President.
The Ternana team and its players are known by the nickname of Fere, or "beasts" or "beasts" in the Terni dialect, adopting the mythological figure of the Wyvern as the corporate symbol, also identified in local heraldry as the Thyrus Dragon
