Ogni riga di quelle 173 presenti nella lista, rappresenta sì una posizione lavorativa ma, più di ogni cosa, rappresenta una persona. Una persona che, da un giorno all’altro, si trova ad avere paura del futuro, con la consapevolezza che qualcuno, in un modo e in un tempo che non è noto, ha deciso che il suo lavoro non è più utile all’azienda.
What I'm asking you is to stop, for a moment, and imagine yourself in the shoes of someone who recognized themselves on the list: someone wrote, in black and white, that what you do every day, with sacrifices and effort, is no longer of any use.
In questi giorni ho sentito dire di tutto: che non ci si può fare niente, che è naturale che certe cose vadano così, che tanto, in un modo o nell’altro, si raggiungerà un accordo che soddisferà tutti. Io dico che non è importante solo il risultato ma anche come ci si è arrivati, perché certe situazioni lasciano sempre delle cicatrici
And how are we going to get there if no one speaks up?
Stiamo fermi e zitti mentre coloro i quali si dovrebbero occupare e preoccupare delle persone stanno lì a prendere tempo e a giocare al ribasso come se si trattasse di una partita di poker? Credo che tutti noi meritiamo qualcosa di meglio, credo che ognuno di noi debba indignarsi e alzare la testa e pretendere che, in questa situazione, le persone siano la cosa più importante, non i numeri, non i soldi, non l’immagine dell’azienda.
People, just people!
Let's not let this become a war between people, it's not a fight of good guys against bad guys, of employees against managers, of people 'on the list' and people 'off the list', it's a battle for the dignity of people, of all people.
We have to convince ourselves that if we continue to think only for ourselves and close ourselves off in total individualism, we won't go anywhere.
We wondered why our German and French colleagues were treated with dignity, while they are reserving this treatment for us? Haven't we Italians also participated actively and profitably in BI's turnover?
The answer is that only united groups win battles
Dear colleague, I want to ask you to be by my side, because today you support me and tomorrow I will be there for you and for anyone who will be treated with such little respect. All together we are a great force marching united towards a more human dimension of things
Only if we are in solidarity with each other will we be able to achieve something concrete and to those who say it is useless, ask them to prove it to you.
E quando sarà tutto finito e sarà tempo di bilanci, non avremo il rimpianto di esserci girati dall’altra parte.
