AIISF National Assembly. At the event the testimony of the flooded Informants

Last Saturday, the AIISF National Assembly, federated with Fedaiisf, was held in Bologna. In the meeting the National President, Francesca Boni, illustrated what has been done in the last year. Reports from the National Treasurer and the Secretariat followed.

Internal organizational problems and relations with local political and health organizations were addressed.

The Whistleblowers who were victims of the recent flood in Romagna have been invited to the Assembly. In their report, emotionally very touching, they described the tragic events that followed and which led to the flood and the loss of all their possessions.

Many associates have asked to be able to lend a hand, even by paying a contribution. AIISF, and the other Fedaiisf federated associations, have made themselves interpreters of these requests by organizing a fundraiser in favor of colleagues who have been flooded. Solidarity and support for whistleblowers affected by the floods in Romagna are essential to contribute, as far as possible, to the recovery in some way of the people involved. Aware that in any case it will be little to face the tragedy of those who have lost everything, and not just economically.

In this moment of extreme difficulty, even the donations of whistleblowers can be essential to meet the first needs. It is essential to join forces to offer support and solidarity to affected colleagues.

We report below the video of the intervention of the flooded ISF

The message they sent us

Good morning everyone, since day one of this tragedy we have been searching for the right words to let you know how fundamental your support has been to us.
Even today it is impossible to express our gratitude.

In a few hours we saw our house destroyed, we had to abandon it, to then return to a place that in no way resembles the one we had built and loved.

The hardest moment was getting on the dinghy and telling my children that they could only bring a backpack closed in a garbage bag, because we didn't know if we'd ever come back…

And instead we went back to our home, we cleaned up, bought back fixtures, windows and floors and we try to live as normal as possible and this is also possible thanks to your immense generosity.

Thank you.
Christine and Louis
