And the 'gap' between women's and men's wages is confirmed
In the United States, the median salary for pharmaceutical marketers decreased by 2.6% between 2015 and 2016, from $142,900 a year to $139,000.
This was revealed by a survey of almost 1,000 healthcare professionals, interviewed for the Career and Salary Survey by MedicalMarketing&Media.
But what remains serious is the enormous 'gap' between women's and men's salaries: even if the average wage for women increased by 0.6% in 2016 (from $123,800 to $124,500), the value remains significantly below below the average salary for men (154,100, down by 2.4% compared to 158,000 in 2015).
