ONLY ONE RECIPE TO SAVE

I would like to point out a malpractice, in my opinion to be eliminated to streamline the bureaucracy in health care. It is known that today in order to be able to buy a drug, a prescription from a general practitioner is required. But the doctor can only order two packs at a time and if you need more, you have to go back to the same doctor and wait that often exceeds 2 hours. I wonder: why can't I just go back to the pharmacy with the same prescription? If it's a drug that I have to take for the rest of my life, it would be enough for me to show up at the pharmacy when I've finished it with the same prescription. This would greatly streamline the procedure and avoid clogging up the doctor's office with routine requests.
