Just two days ago, the Chamber approved the 1.5 billion payback payable by the industries for the overrun of pharmaceutical spending in 2013-15 in the local authorities decree. But now the Lazio TAR (third quater section) has fallen on that decree - on the calculations and procedures implemented by Aifa - which has accepted the appeals of about seventy companies, including Big Pharma, which have requested, and obtained , the suspension of the advance payments requested and expected by the regions as a boon to shelter old budgets. Payments by companies should take place by Tuesday 26 July, subject to subsequent adjustments. The Tar will enter into the merits only in September.
