Sigma Tau, tomorrow at the workers' meeting in front of the Pomezia company

Tomorrow morning, Thursday 26 January 2012, from 11.30, the national secretary of the Communist Refoundation, Paolo Ferrero and the regional group leader of the Federation of the Left/Prc, Ivano Peduzzi, will take part in the gathering of hundreds of Sigma Tau workers, in front of the gates of the pharmaceutical company of Pomezia, to say "no" to the dismissal of 569 employees and to the company disposal plan.

On Thursday, the dramatic situation of Sigma-Tau will be discussed: in a motion, Romeo De Angelis of the PDL asks the president of the Province of Rome to "put in place every possible initiative aimed at avoiding the hypothesis of workers being made redundant" and to act as "promoter of interinstitutional tables with the group's management also involving all the unions, committees and associations of the territories concerned, so that alternative solutions to layoffs and layoffs are studied".
