The aim is to encourage reflection and open debate on the aspects of humanisation of medicine, meaning by this bringing treatment back to a human scale, and going beyond the technical aspects, however necessary but not sufficient for "taking care" of patients. With this intent, next June 13 at 18 will be held in the meeting room of the civil hospital “SS. Annunziata”, on the seventh floor, a meeting that is both a moment of attention to the patient who is in the hospital as well as a moment of culture. It will be an opportunity to present and then discuss the themes that will arise from the illustration of the book by Marco Venturino entitled "What goldfish dream about". The presentation of the book and the subsequent debate are organized by the Training Service of the Local Health Authority n. 1 of Sassari in collaboration with the international bookshop Koiné. For the occasion, in addition to the author, Maria Luisa Sarullo, former literature teacher in high schools, who will present Venturino's novel from a literary point of view, and Mario Oppes, member of the Bioethics Committee, who will take care of framing the initiative in the broader theme of the humanization of relationships within the hospital, will intervene. The meeting is open to public participation, therefore patients and their families, as well as healthcare professionals.
