Enlisted to sow peace in offices, open spaces and laboratories. It is the 'peace manager' – born Antonella Zaghini – a figure who makes her debut in Milan, in a company active in the homeopathy sector, Guna. The company, which has over 200 employees (including internal staff and the network of scientific representatives) is the first to have equipped itself with a professional of 'non-violence', to prevent conflicts and ensure that a climate of harmony reigns in the workplace. Guna's peace manager is 49 years old, married with one child, and is the company's 'zero' employee, a veteran who has been working at the headquarters in via Palmanova for the past 29 years. Zaghini is part of the presidential staff and deals with Corporate social responsibility.
A year ago he assumed his new position, inspired by an experience lived by Guna in November 2009: the World March for peace and non-violence. The homeopathic company has 'adopted' the 3,000 km Italian stage, offering its active support.
"Then we said to ourselves that we didn't want to lose that heritage of values. The idea we had was to bring the concept of peace into our daily lives and therefore within the company, in the workplace, in interpersonal relationships with colleagues", explains Zaghini to Adnkronos Salute.
The peace manager was born with these objectives, in the shadow of a figure who set the school in the field of non-violence: Ganhdhi.
