The Lazio Region complies with the guidelines established by the Ministry of Health for the identification of subjects who must have access to vaccination as a priority, considering the number of doses available.
The scientific medical activity is among the activities that do not have direct contact with the patients and therefore, considering that the activity was effectively carried out remotely, it will fall into the vaccination categories by age.

Editor's note: it would be interesting to know where they get information such as that the ISF "effectively carry out their activities remotely". None of us, who do the ISF, have ever seen things like this. One wonders if these gentlemen have ever really seen an ISF. Do they know that their business is regulated by law? Do they know that many have a VAT number? And for these does it mean not working? And do they know what it's like not to work for them and their families?
Unfortunately ignorance reigns supreme and, what is more serious, they also do damage. I'm so sorry for my Lazio colleagues, but luckily there are at least 13 other regions that think differently and the ISF vaccinate them!
The Clarification of Fedaiisf Rome
With regard to the article that appeared on the Fedaiisf website 'Informants work remotely ...' the Fedaiisf section of Rome dissociates itself entirely from the contents of the said article and declares that it did not take part in the drafting of the request presented by some colleagues in the province of Latina /Frosinone to the Medicines and Devices Area of the Lazio Region.
We in the Fedaiisf Section of Rome, in agreement with the coordination of the Lazio region, are doing everything possible to ensure that the vaccination proposal is accepted using strategies in line with the institutional process starting from a motion presented by the Hon. Tripods in the regional council and which will be discussed in the next few days.
The fedaisf coordination of the Lazio region intends to pursue the objective of recognizing the profession of ISF through a continuous, fruitful, constructive and civil exchange and dialogue with all the institutional interlocutors.
