Conquer Big Pharma investments and apply for a leading role in the global pharmaceutical market. Italy has decided to play its cards of excellence with innovative projects presented by Aifa at the Italian embassy in Washington where the meeting of drug regulatory agencies from around the world is taking place. One project concerns the quality and safety of medicines, in particular generics and biosimilars, through a platform that foresees effects, possible adverse reactions and limits of action in humans, and the fight against counterfeiting. The other project concerns the guide to prescribing appropriateness with risk sharing and payment by result systems for the most expensive innovative drugs. US companies in Italy are the 21% of the sector with 5,000 employees and constant investments.
