A birth control pill that allows you to have only 4 periods a year has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The US agency for food and drug safety has given the green light to Seasonique, this is the name of the new drug, which replaces the seven sugary pills that conclude the cycle in normal contraceptives, with low-dose estrogen pills. It should be available in pharmacies in July.
