"Glad that the Region has accepted the AIISF proposal: it gives them an important contribution in emergency management"
"The proposal formulated by the Italian Association of Scientific Drug Representatives (Aiisf) of Turin and Southern Piedmont, i.e. making its members available to the regional health system for actions to support emergency management, represents an act of great importance, and I am pleased that the Piedmont Region has wanted to welcome it and that the councilor offices are already at work to implement it concretely”.
This was stated by the regional councilor Albert Avetta (Pd), at the end of the discussion in the classroom of his question time relating to the collaboration proposal put forward by the scientific representatives.
“These are people with training in medical and scientific subjects, many have degrees in biological sciences or in pharmacy, and could be employed in activities of great utility, for example in the field of contact tracing, monitoring of isolated persons and in other tasks of a bureaucratic nature, thus relieving the health personnel.
Piedmont is right to welcome this availability, following what has already been done by other Regions, such as Emilia Romagna and Umbria".
