The Federation of Pharmaceutical Representatives Associations (Federaisf) has been established: Aiisf and Federisf have formalized their membership of the body.
Carmelo Carnovale was appointed as president; Angelo Baruchello, Lucio Golia and Patrizio Mondì as vice presidents; Riccardo Bevilacqua as secretary and Vincenzo Carnì as treasurer.
"The birth of Federaisf - reports a note - offers the possibility of being able to count on a body that combines the skills gained in the previous associations, with a view to a greater territorial and national presence that draws the attention of institutions, politics, trade unions and businesses to the need to bring the scientific information service on drugs back to where the legislator has long since inserted it.
In fact, no one escapes the dangerous drift towards which the sector is heading and the numerous layoffs of highly qualified personnel carried out above all by the companies holding the largest sales shares in the medicines market.
Therefore, being Federaisf the only structured, legally constituted and most representative body of the ISFs in Italy, there is confidence that all institutional, political, trade union and entrepreneurial subjects will take note of it and converge towards positive and constructive relations".
