The figure emerges from sector studies, the latest just elaborated which are based on the 2012 tax returns on the 2011 tax year: pharmacists, together with notaries, are the ones who pay the most taxes. If, in fact, in 2012 the average income of professionals, who support the average income in sector studies, is 49,900 euros, with a +0.8% compared to the previous year, pharmacies are at the top with 103,400 euros. A figure seized on the fly by the representatives of the parapharmacies and by the president's voice Joseph Scioscia they speak of «the paradoxical perseverance of Italian politics in wanting to protect certain income from positions that are no longer sustainable. We have nothing against the top incomes of pharmacies», explains Scioscia. «It is rather the closure of the category to any form of liberalization of the drug system that is suspicious: an all too obvious attempt not to want to see even one iota of its market share scratched. A resistance that is frankly no longer sustainable» he concludes.
