THEThe chairman of the management of Novartis, Joseph Jimenez, received total remuneration of 11.6 million francs last year, against 12.6 million the previous year. The basic salary is 2.1 million.
David Epstein, director of the pharmaceutical division, also saw his salary fall, to about 9 million dollars (9.46 million francs at current exchange rates), compared to 9.3 million a year earlier, Novartis indicated, publishing today its 2015 annual activity report. Epstein's data is in dollars, while those of his colleagues do not.
The overall Directorate-General reached a total amount of almost 52 million francs, compared to 69.2 million in 2014.
As for the board of directors, Novartis chairman Jörg Reinhardt received 3.8 million francs last year, against 4 million the previous year. Overall, the supervisory body was awarded 7.8 million (8.8 million in 2014).
