A 2015 full of sparks is looming for the convention of family doctors. In fact, the leading trade union, the Fimmg, officially enters into agitation. This was decided by the national council in Florence. To the 25,000 Fimmg doctors could be added the 8,000 of Snami whose president Angel Head he obtained a "wild card" from the October congress to declare it in the face of delays/failures on the part of the public, while the third union, the Smi, is in turmoil in some regions.
The difference in the latter case is more of form than substance: in the dock is the will of the regions to decide each for themselves the future organizational model of general practice.
Fimmg adds the delays: the national council underlines that the Balduzzi law provided for the end of the negotiations in 2012 and the signing of the agreement in mid-2013. Nothing has been achieved, and the union led by Giacomo Milillo he accuses that the negotiations with Sisac, the regional contractor agency, were in fact interrupted after the belated presentation of the conventional platform, and not by the will of the doctors. Fimmg stigmatizes and denounces the inaction of the Sector Committee, favored by the ambiguity of its President's behavior and judges the contents of the Sisac draft "unnecessarily and instrumentally fossilized in the definition of organizational models that are the responsibility of the individual Regions", while Fimmg presses for a system of primary care entrusted to the self-government of the category of general practitioners.
On the one hand, we must not throw the table in the air, if the cuts in health care arrive, that billion and a half, the national agreement will move away. On the other hand, resentment towards a counterpart apparently insensitive to the needs of the territory leaks from the Fimmg corridors, «when Sisac diverts our indemnities and in particular those relating to production factors to functional aggregations, organized according to regional wishes, for salaries of doctors, the risk of a massive reduction is looming and one cannot think of closing a convention at a loss".
At the national council of Florence, Fimmg approved the vaccination calendar for life and appointed six mmg members responsible for the Strategic Area, for computerization Paolo Misericordia, for the organization of the Dario Grisillo study, for social security Franco Pagano, for the protection fiscal Carmine Scavone, for legal protection Domenico Savorani and for the scientific area Walter Marrocco.

Doctors' schedule, Cimo: Italy lags behind Europe
Tuesday, 16 December 2014 – Doctor33
«It is essential to guarantee white coats the possibility of being able to carry out their profession in suitable conditions, also taking into consideration the delicacy of the situations they are faced with and it is also their right to protect themselves and claim to be adequately compensated for a right which, it was only denied to doctors».
It is with this assumption, as the president of Cimo explains, Riccardo Cassi that the union has entrusted Consulcesi with the battle to guarantee working hours that respect the European directive 88/2003 CE, to which Italy has already complied, explains a note from Cimo, with guilty delay and which, despite the recent publication in the Official Gazette of the law 161 of 30 October 2014will only apply next year.
«The objective that we set ourselves with this initiative – continues Cassi – is not to impose on doctors a standard tailored to other types of work, but to force the Government and the Regions to build, together with the trade unions, a work organization that provides for specific shifts and rest periods for the activity that the doctor carries out within the NHS, to protect not only the white coats, but above all the citizens".
