The last and decisive meeting was held on Monday morning at the ARTI (Tuscan Regional Employment Agency) between Farmigea srl represented by Roberta Russo and Isabella Timpano, the Pisan Industrial Union represented by the head of Labor Services, Paolo Meossi, the company RSU represented by three ISFs, Silvia Olivero, Giuseppe Morena and Mario Cerutti and the trade union organization Filctem Cgil represented by Loris Mainardi.
Conclusion of the meeting…. I DO NOT AGREE.
In the previous meeting, Farmigea had taken another week to carry out further investigations for the less traumatic management of the redundancies. Result of the study: collective dismissal confirmed, 10,000 euro gross severance pay and an outreplacement system that cannot be cashed in but perhaps equal to 10% of the GAS (Gross Annual Salary) of each (for the series, those with a high GAS have a good chance of be entrusted to a good agency, whoever has the minimum GAS... to the agency they deserve).
The RSU tried to advance a sort of negotiation asking for 24 months of RAL, but the company replied that it was very far from their ideas without putting forward a counter-proposal, so in the end I didn't agree.
The company now has 120 days to get the letter of termination to every single employee.
Already for a week Farmigea has "invited" to take the holidays with the excuse of a collective detention and also to the request of the ISF not to accept the compulsory use of the holidays but of a paid leave, Farmigea has remained firm on its positions not showing no openness, as always, towards the ISF.
Ed: The outplacement service in Italy is regulated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies as a support activity for professional outplacement. The activity is carried out on the specific and exclusive assignment of the client organization (the company where the person is hired and from which he is about to be fired or placed on redundancy fund or on redundancy) and is aimed at the outplacement of workers in the labor market Work. Outplacement companies do not take care of relocating the worker by forcing him to undergo his choices, but their task is to accompany the worker in the retraining process. The outplacement intervention is borne by the company both from an economic point of view and from a training point of view. Outplacement is an effective tool for corporate image as it invites workers to participate in outplacement services, how effective it is for the worker remains to be verified.
