Summit with the ministry to find a solution to the 76 redundancies (out of 86 employees) declared by the pharmaceutical company
Monza, 13 May 2020 – layoffs Rottapharm Biotech, Tomorrow the meeting with the Ministry of Labour. The last stage of a trade union negotiation which is trying to reach an agreement by May 18th. Beyond that date i 76 redundancies announced (68 in Brianza and 8 in the Friuli office, out of 86 employees: only the 10 executives are saved to ensure “continuation of business under the new business model”) will be effective.
"At the moment the situation has not moved, the company has remained in its position, but I hope that a meeting point can be reached before the Ministry", the update of Tiziano Cogliati of the Cisl Monza and Brianza on the eve of the Roman negotiation. Although the company in these days would have relaunched, offering to workers superior economic incentives compared to those initially proposed and which amounted to 12 months' salaries and 400 euros for each year of seniority as well as a specialized outplacement service
