Dear friends, As previously communicated to you, I confirm that on Friday 1 June the seminar in question was held in Perugia, in the University Hall, Faculty of Pharmacy, organized by Pf. Monarca, President of the degree course in scientific information on drugs, in collaboration with the local Aiisf Section.Title of the seminar: “The future of scientific information on medicines”.
As I had requested in good time from Prof. Monarca, the poster displayed to the public introduced me as Past President of our Association and I myself made the necessary clarifications in this regard.
The seminar was also attended by Dr. Massimo Cappelli, Sales Director of Sigma-Tau and numerous Colleagues of the Aiisf Section of Perugia.
The seminar dealt with all the topics that pertain to our sector, with reference to the particular situation that today involves pharmaceutical companies, ISFs, Regions, the population, especially the elderly, as well as the future of students enrolled in degree courses in scientific information on drugs.
The need for legal recognition of our profession emerged unanimously, with the institution of the Register of ISFs and the request to our Association to do its utmost in this regard.
For your information, I also inform you that at the end of the works, the President of the Aiisf Section of Perugia, Vinicio Vicari, together with my colleagues Guido Chiocchini and Francesco Palladino, wanted to give me a commemorative plaque on behalf of the members with the inscription:
