This was underlined with satisfaction by the president of Federfarma, Giorgio Siri, who resumed discussions with the Minister of Health, which will continue when the Bersani decree is approved and it will be possible to verify its application with tools that will not call into question the role of the pharmacist, on the contrary will strengthen it.
“There will therefore be no new pharmacies in supermarkets but the role of pharmacy-pharmacist will be strengthened. We have not asked for the modification of the Bersani decree but we will discuss its application with the Turkish minister. I hope that afterwards we will also be able to meet the minister of economic development in peace", concluded Siri, underlining that "the pharmacist who will work in supermarkets will be of help to the citizen but will never distort the fundamental role with the pharmacy".
