(AGI) - Rome, Feb. 20. – From a structural point of view, among the most 'performing' sectors in the period 2008-2010 are pharmaceuticals, chemistry, mechanics and the manufacture of electrical and non-electrical equipment, which in 2010 accounted for over 27.4% of added value manufacturing. This is what emerges from the "Report on the competitiveness of businesses and productive sectors" presented today by the president of Istat, Enrico Giovannini, during the national statistics conference. The sectors that are found, however, in the lower part of the ranking drawn up by Istat on the performance of the various manufacturing sectors are repairs, printing and reproduction of recorded media, wood, furniture and clothing.
