Femca Cisl becomes the first trade union organization in Janssen
Extraordinary result of the FEMCA CISL, which becomes the first trade union in Janssen Latina. In the elections for the renewal of the Unitary Union Representatives of the plant, the Cislino union of chemists became, in fact, the first for votes and delegates. After a rather complex electoral campaign, which saw all the participating organizations spare no effort to achieve the goal, the workers awarded the Via Cairoli union.
Femca Cisl obtained 90 votes and 3 seats, Filctem Cgil obtained 14 votes and no seats, Confail 53 votes and 1 seat, Uilcem Uil 62 votes and 2 seats, Ugl Chimici 79 votes and 3 seats. This vote rewards the great work done in recent months by the company's Femca Cisl management group, a young and motivated group that has been able to explain well to the workers the regions of our being together and our commitment in their exclusive interest. A new, participatory trade union model that seeks to adapt to the ever faster and more ferocious times and dynamics of this schizophrenic labor market.
With this 30% of votes, our Organization has assumed an important burden and a significant responsibility in the face of the certainly not easy moments that await us. Janseen's Latina plant is one of the 3 pharmaceutical production sites of the Johnson & Johnson group in Europe, it is the market leader in various therapeutic areas, such as: HIV treatment, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, schizophrenia treatment, Gynecology and Pain Management. The Latina site is among the most modern and innovative in the world, employing over 400 people. Thanks to its technological innovation, it is able to meet the needs of all sectors in which Johnson & Johnson operates. Currently, thanks to a young and prepared company management, the site has recently introduced the production of OTC products for the US market. The provincial secretariat Femca Cisl in expressing great satisfaction with the result achieved, will undertake to provide the new managerial framework with the right skills and training due for the management of trade union relations with the Company Management.
