This is the comment, released from behind the counter of his pharmacy in the province of Catanzaro, from Maria Carmela Lanzetta, until a few weeks ago minister for regional affairs in the Renzi government and now returned to the activity of pharmacist.
Her political career began in 2006, when she was elected mayor of Monasterace, a position she held in the 2011 elections. For years in the sights of the 'Ndrangheta, who had shot down her car and set her pharmacy on fire, less than a year ago Lanzetta made a surprise entry into Renzian government.
His recent return to Calabria had aroused curiosity and a certain stir because Lanzetta had preferred Roman palaces to engage as regional councilor in the governor's team Mario Oliverio. But then the Calabrian pharmacist decided to give up on this too, putting ethical considerations first: in fact, she realized that the name of Nino DeGaetano.

The guiding principle of Lanzetta's behavior therefore appears to be coherence and his return to the family pharmacy, along the road that runs along the Ionian coast, is not experienced as a defeat but as part of a civil commitment that does not include compromises.
