In the Senate, the spending review also concerns the outpatient clinic. Cuts to services for 240 thousand euros

ROME. The spending review in healthcare also arrives in the Senate. The recent reorganization of the services provided by the Palazzo Madama clinic will "decrease the total cost of the health facility from 640 to 400 thousand euros per year".

It is the result of an analysis elaborated for Adnkronos Salute by internal sources at Palazzo Madama, after the latest measures to reorganize the health services of the Senate. To achieve this result, the President's Council had to use "scissors": in fact, weekend shifts, midweek holidays, August and Christmas were abolished.

The clinic guarantees first aid not only to over 300 senators. It performs around 3,000 services a year, to which must be added around 700 real and proper rescues, mostly cardiological.
