Third time in a few months for the multinational. Filctem: We continue our fight
With the sentence issued by the labor judge of Siena, Gsk Vaccines was convicted of anti-union behavior (pursuant to article 28 of law n° 300/1970) against Filctem Cgil for the third time in a few months. The novelty is that this time the labor judge has deemed it appropriate to transmit all the documents to the Siena Public Prosecutor's Office, effectively highlighting that there could be crimes against GSK, which could be prosecuted ex officio.
"In addition to the great satisfaction for having been right again on how we carried out our role as trade unionists within the multinational - explains the Sienese Filctem -, there is also the confirmation that in this country the laws and regulations are established by the State and not by an internal company regulation. If GSK won't stop us we will continue to defend this principle in every place and in every office and with it the rights of workers and union delegates, as we have done up to now".
"As a further warning, we want to reiterate that we will not give up on anything, continuing in full compliance with the our representative role, regardless of the number of employees involved or the size of the company in front of you. The protection of the exercise of freedom and trade union activity in the workplace is the basis of democracy”, concludes the union.
