Gsk (Parma), signed an innovative agreement on the transfer of holidays
The agreement signed with GlaxoSmithkline of San Polo di Torrile (Parma), a company that employs about 700 people, by the Rsu Filctem Cgil and by top management assisted by Confindustria Parma is an important solidarity agreement. Employees will be able to give some days of vacation free of charge to colleagues who need to assist a family member due to particular health conditions. This is one of the very first examples of how it is possible to collectivize a momentary personal discomfort to offer important support to families in difficulty.
“It is a very important agreement for the territory - declare Marco Todeschi and the Rsu of Filctem - which implements a regulation present in the national contract. It is important to focus not only on economic results but also on those forms of solidarity and inclusion that workers can put in place to help those who are momentarily in difficulty".
“It is an innovative agreement which highlights, once again, the company's interest in the issue of reconciliation between life and work. This agreement further strengthens and formalizes the value of people for the company, also giving employees the opportunity to express their solidarity with colleagues in such situations".
The renewal of the contract naturally also revised upwards the bonus mechanisms linked to productivity and confirmed some historical institutions such as the "social club". All in a territorial contractual season under the banner of equal rights and equality among workers.
