The new specialization course in drug and health economics will start in September for graduates in service in the health sector of the public administration and for students of specialization schools in medicine and pharmacy, who intend to perfect themselves in the field of the course subjects.
The initiative, wanted by the Liguria Region, was born from the collaboration with the Department of Economics of the University of Genoa and various public and private institutions. The number of participants expected for this first edition is 25 people who will be awarded training credits and CME credits.
With the implementation of the course, the Liguria Region intends to create an interdisciplinary model and with public-private partnerships, of approach to issues related to the economy of drugs and health, such as sustainability, the appropriateness of treatments and the advent of new drugs innovative.
