The generics sector has grown steadily over the last 5 years. Giorgio Foresti, President of Assogenerici, explains: "The pillar of our segment is the sales force which, in the area, exceeds 1,100 units. And the sector is holding up well because, even in prescription drugs, scientific expertise must increasingly be combined with sales skills". Currently the job openings in the sales branch are on 3 companies. Ratiopharm has started selections for 15 people. Eurospital hires 5 agents in the "food" line. Baxter, thanks to the enlargement of the plant by 2012, has opened 100.
