(AGENPARL) - Rome, June 01 - "The National Pharmaceutical Forum recognizes the Hon. Domenico Scilipoti for having supported, in recent years and in the various formations to which he has decided to join, particular positive attention to pharmaceutical assistance, the protection of the sick and the needs of those who work in the sector. The unjustifiable increase in direct attacks on the Hon. Domenico Scilipoti would seem only to aim at his personal discredit, so much so that it would also like to question his ability and his skills to be able to be part of the Superior Health Council, disregarding him certified professional paths and commitment demonstrated through irrefutable important courageous parliamentary questions on health problems.Recalling that Mr. Scilipoti has never asked the National Pharmaceutical Forum to share his path or his political ideas, not even when he was in force at the IdV, it is considered a duty to express human solidarity towards him, since it is not easy to bear a barrage, friend or foe, by placing it as a scapegoat for choices on which we do not intend to go into the merits, but which have notoriously been made by a great many parliamentarians on whom a different attitude has been maintained. The National Forum for Pharmaceuticals acknowledges the Hon. Scilipoti who, as he has already done in the past, presenting documents in defense of sector operators and the protection of their work, even today, which is politically aligned in the government majority, continues to support the battles of the category for a more just health care, for the protection of citizens' health and for the defense of numerous jobs, against very powerful lobbies, for the creation of a movement of opinion among citizens and among those who work in the sector that affirms the correct use and therapeutic use of drugs, promoting their efficiency, availability and fair access to protect citizens' health".
