"We welcome the convening of the joint meeting between the Ministry of Health and the MIUR, scheduled for May 18th" declared Silvestro Scotti, national general secretary of Fimmg.
“An initial analysis of the need for medical professionals, both specialists and general practitioners, will be carried out here for the next few years and we hope that, once the real need has been established, the consequent measures will be adopted in a short time.
However, we can only re-launch the alarm cry of recent months,” concludes Scotti: “the number of scholarships for the specific training course in general medicine must be increased immediately and consistently”.
