We report the note of the President of the AIISF "Seby Trapani" section of Reggio Calabria, federated Fedaiisf, Raffaele Ioffrida, to the members on the occasion of the "1st Memorial Seby Trapani"
Colleagues and colleagues good morning.
As you know, yesterday evening at the "La Pinetina" sports centre, the "1st Memorial Seby Trapani" was held, a mini football tournament which saw the participation of three teams representing respectively the doctors, pharmacists and scientific representatives of the province of Reggio Calabria.
The tournament was strongly desired by the FEDAIISF Board to commemorate the figure of Seby Trapani, spearhead of our team as well as a capable informant. Seby left us four years ago and, by donating his organs, he made the most extreme and noble act of life through his family members, who authorized the explantation. He attended the evening 
also Loredana, Seby's wife, with her two daughters and dr. Rino Mancini, head of the Regional Center for organ transplants.
In addition to being commemorative, this evening was also an opportunity to further link three professional categories, precisely those of doctors, scientific representatives and pharmacists, who share the same work environments every day in the diversity of roles but always with great respect towards each other.
I thank Francesco Praticò, manager of the team as well as organizer of the event and Francesco Puntillo as the perfect host. Lastly, I thank my doctor and pharmacist friends for their participation and all those who, in various ways, made this evening take place in the best possible way.

Introducing the competition, the Captains of the formations representing the Reggio healthcare world donated flowers and plaques to the wife and daughters of Seby Trapani and the director of the regional transplant center, Dr. Rino Mancini, highlighted the importance of the family gesture Trapani and of many, like hers, who decide to transform the tragedy of death into an opportunity for rebirth and therefore a new life for those in need.
Among the applause of all the participants and the moved memory of lifelong friends, the lady Loredana Trapani kicked off the first memorial Seby Trapani, best testifying how much organ donation is an important gesture for each of us. “A gesture I'm proud of and I've never regretted even for a second", he said Loredana Trapani garnering warm appreciation from everyone.
