Fedaisf. The Modena Section is reborn

After the birth of the Bologna Section in July 2018, now Modena too has an Institutionally Recognized Section of IS/ISF, and which yesterday, 6 May, elected its Board. The Federal National President, Antonio Mazzarella, and the AIISF President, Angelo Barucchello were present.

The Section of Modena immediately makes itself available to the Institutions to try to overcome the problems of access, in some public structures, as provided for by Article 2 of the Guidelines of the Regional Regulation of Scientific Information on Medicines approved by the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces which states that " the performance of the activities of the ISFs within the structures of the SSR is ensured and facilitated by the Managements of the aforementioned structures” and as also provided for by art. 4 of the Italian Constitution which states that "The Republic recognizes the right to work for all citizens and promotes the conditions that make this right effective”. Such access issues have led and could lead to further IS/ISF job losses.

Another objective of the Association is to provide support and continuous training to IS/ISF colleagues on laws and regulations that govern our work for compliance with the rules and for transparency in relations with the medical profession, as required by the Regulations and the Fedaiisf Code of Ethics. The elected Sectional Executive of Modena is composed as follows:

It should be noted that at the same time as the election of Massimo Camatti as president of the Modena section, he leaves the position of vice president in Bologna, which is covered by his colleague Dr. Fabio Sponcichetti.
