Dear Mr. Grillo, or, if you prefer, simply 'Dear Beppe',
One point of your non-statute is causing great concern to the category of Pharmaceutical Representatives (which, beyond stereotypes, is made up, like all categories of workers, by an overwhelming majority of upright people):
….Promote the use of generic and off-patent medicines that are equivalent to and less expensive than brand name medicines and safer than newly approved products.
Medical prescription of active ingredients instead of brands…..
Here, only one fundamental consideration, understandable even to those who are totally unaware of the matter: THE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE BETWEEN THE 'BRANDED' DRUG AND THE 'GENERIC' (or 'active ingredient') constitutes the so-called 'share payable' by THE CITIZEN who, as always, THE CITIZEN IS FREE TO PAY (if THEY WANT the 'branded') or not (if they prefer the 'generic' ). Therefore, 'generics' are 'less expensive' (the wise man says: 'No one gives anything away for nothing'…), but FOR WHOM? Certainly not for THE STATE, THE HEALTH SYSTEM. So, the staunch defense of the prescription of the 'active principle' cui prodest?
The discussion of the topic shouldn't stop here, but if you do us the honor of coming and consulting the ISF ITALIA Facebook group (and/or the websites www.federaisf.org, www.informatori.it), you will have the opportunity to learn all the further news on the subject that you desire. Afterwards you could also decide to revise some non-points of the non-statute…
The Italian Pharmaceutical Representatives await you confidently.
My warmest congratulations for the extraordinary result achieved in the electoral consultation.
