Withdrawn from the market antitussive drug: it can cause arrhythmias. Suspension of sale and withdrawal from the market throughout the country for the antitussive drug Silomat: these are the measures taken by the Italian Medicines Agency. This provision was made necessary as a precaution following studies that highlighted the possibility of an increased risk of cardiac arrhythmias.
