Ventimiglia 20 Mar. (Re.Ma.) – The alarm came directly from France: there were packs of expired creams on the market in Italy. And the Istituto Superiore di Sanità intervened through the Nas and the carabinieri seized 26 thousand packages of seized ointments and creams. The dates on the tubes would have been falsified to be put back on the market. All tubes marketed under the name of Easy-Klik, the pharmaceutical company that produces the antiseptic solution and the ointment, used for the treatment of cold sores, canker sores, eusine and also for warts. The carabinieri would have ascertained that the boxes of medical devices would have expired long ago, therefore dangerous for patients or, at best, ineffective for therapy. In recent days, the hunt for altered packaging and withdrawal from the shelves and warehouses of pharmacies has started throughout the national territory. At the same time, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Genoa entered the owner of a Genoese company that imports these products in the register of suspects and is therefore called to answer for the crime of fraud in commerce.
