(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 24 - A profound revision of the Farmindustria Statute to recognize and reward innovation and investments, focusing on the visibility of the key success factors of the pharmaceutical industry: this is what was decided unanimously by the Assembly Extraordinary meeting of the Association convened today in Rome.
From now on, new parameters such as employment, investments, revenues abroad and taxes paid in Italy will be used to measure the weight of individual companies in the governance of the association.
"Real indicators of industrial and research commitment that will determine the votes assigned to companies within the Association - says Farmindustria in a note - recognizing the Italian spirit of companies and their value beyond nationality of the capital. Because businesses, too
if international, they are Italian when they hire them in Italy, open research and production centres, create scientific and industrial culture”.
Farmindustria underlines again how the new statute contributes to the modernization of internal dynamics, precisely rewarding those who bet on investments and internationalization.
