(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 27 - Daniele Finocchiaro, 45, from Palermo, is the new senior vice president and general manager of GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Italy. He succeeds Luc Debruyne, called to the role of Europe area manager of the same pharmaceutical group, who will continue to maintain the presidency of Gsk Spa.
Finocchiaro, a graduate in Economics from Bocconi and with a master's degree in health management, held roles of increasing responsibility in GlaxosmithKline Italia with an important professional parenthesis in Farmindustria, before returning to the company in 2003 to deal with Institutional Relations and Communication until 2007; the last position as vice president of the primary care & prevention commercial department, which oversees all activities relating to general medicine, vaccinations, the respiratory sector and urology.
