“Often – he adds – they are people who have had neither direct nor indirect experience with Covid, perhaps they have had untrue information on the real seriousness of the disease: those who have had such an experience get the vaccine right away. “General practitioners – continued Bartoletti – make dozens of phone calls a day to explain to people who have not been vaccinated that they should get vaccinated to prevent them from having serious problems”.
On the availability of vaccines for general practitioners, the Fimmg deputy secretary underlined that "the situation has stabilized and is much improved, even if it seems that new supply difficulties could arise from this week".
