RSU RELEASE 06/11/2012
On 05/11/2012 in the meeting at Unindustria in Rome, the Company communicated to the Trade Unions and to the RSU the intention to open the ordinary mobility procedure for 378 employees (232 already in CIGS + 146 employees) in order to proceed with the implementation of the Business Plan with the investment of 125 million euros in the sectors considered strategic.
The trade unions they rejected this approach which would lead to a net and immediate loss of 378 jobs with no possibility of any recovery and certainly not in line with a declared plan for the revitalization and redevelopment of the company.
The trade unions they asked for various aspects of the Business Plan to be examined in depth in order to discuss the organizational implications and the number of professional figures involved.
The trade unions they believe that a criterion of requalification and insertion of many workers in the sectors resulting in staff suffering should be applied.
To this end, the parties have identified a path at the institutional offices (Region, Mise, Minister of Labour) which, through all the available tools, avoids such a devastating impact as the loss of jobs and the inevitable consequences for the life of the Company.
