Beijing, July 2. – According to experts, China, thanks to the growth in demand from the pharmaceutical industry, is destined to become the world's third largest pharmaceutical market after the United States and Japan. Since 2009, China's pharmaceutical market has contributed to one-fifth of the global growth in industry sales, with an annual growth rate of more than 20%. Experts predict that, by 2020, the total output value of China's pharmaceutical industry will reach 10 billion yuan (about 1.25 billion euros), ranking second in the world.
