We received from the AIISF Section of Forlì Cesena the notification that on 10 December a completely innovative project was launched in Cesena: the first bar with gluten-free breakfasts and snacks in Italy. It's about the venue “Coffee Streets” in the historic center. The initiative was made possible thanks to a proposal commissioned by the Italian Celiac Association – headquarters in Forlì/Cesena and which soon intends to “infect” other establishments in the area as well. This project, which will see Cesena as a pilot city, is part of a "friendly route" within the bars for breakfast in the morning, coffee breaks and aperitifs in the afternoon. “The bars that will join this project – he explains Virginia Boschi, responsible forTOItalian Celiac Association headquarters in Cesena – will offer celiac customers gluten-free products from companies authorized by the Ministry of Health. Each food will be sealed in clear wrappers. This idea, according to our forecasts, once run-in will be able to spread at a regional level, as it is the first experience of only bars (not diners or bars annexed to restaurants) in the peninsula".
