Giusto un mese fa l’Antitrust si è pronunciata infliggendo una multa di 180 milioni di euro in via solidale a due multinazionali del farmaco, Novartis And Roche, hypothesizing a cartel agreement to make use of a drug equal to another in ophthalmology but with an initial cost 70 times greater. But how much does he earn Big Pharma about our diseases?
I have been informed that in the field of anticancer drugs, and specifically those used for bone metastases of primary tumors in other organs, there are increases (euro/Kg) from the manufacturer of the active ingredient alone Bees (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient, come viene definito in gergo il principio attivo) al farmaco finito di più di 1.000.000 di volte! Considerando che Big Pharma produce “independently” i suoi principi attivi dei brand, il guadagno aumenta ancora: il principio attivo è l’acido zoledronico, il cui nome brand è Aclasta, guarda caso di Novartis, che costa 105 Euro/Kg. che, diventando farmaco finito, ha un costo al pubblico di 111.472.000 euro/Kg.!!!
Ma questo ricarico per un farmaco salvavita è giustificato? Qualcuno controlla che Big Pharma non sfrutti
