The meeting will take place on 7 October 2010 from 17.30 to 20.15 in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Selargius, in via Istria 1, in the province of Cagliari.
The discussion will focus on the precarious employment conditions that for some years have involved workers in the sector (ISF) and on the new figures that have recently emerged on the recommendation of a personnel search agency, to be employed in the pharmaceutical industry, who do not comply with the provisions of Legislative Decree 219/06 (art. 122)
In the context, the increasingly serious aspects of the foolish policy adopted by the drug multinationals will be examined, the unjustified and illegitimate recourse to the sale of company branches, as recently confirmed by a sentence of the Court of Milan "Labour Section" of 28 May and the consequent allocation of workers to CIGS.
The paradoxical recourse to social safety nets by industrial realities which probably, as reported by authoritative economic sources, have not been affected by the current crisis.
In three years the category has lost about 7,000 jobs, in total indifference on the part of both the political and trade union world.
The meeting will be attended by the Hon. Scilipoti of Italy of values.
Scilipoti, a doctor-gynecologist, is the honorary president of the National Pharmaceutical Forum, has been meeting, for several months around Italy, the leaders of the category and supports with great commitment the cause of the ISF by promoting parliamentary questions and a bill for the recognition of the category.
The recent scandals involving the healthcare world, in which some doctors and companies in the sector are implicated, increasingly see the role of the ISF, a scapegoat, as an unjust responsible for similar criminal acts to the detriment of patients.
The meeting will be moderated by Antonio Scano, scientific informant of the drug.
