The Angelini Group, one of the major Italian pharmaceutical and wine producers, has arranged for the generational handover. Francesco Angelini, 73 years old, namesake of the grandfather who founded the company in 1919, he sold it to his daughter as a donation Thea Paola 52 percent of Angelini Finanziaria, the company that controls the companies of the group in cascades.
His father Francesco retained possession of the 48% and the usufruct of the donated share. Angelini Finanziaria, controls Angelini Finanziaria Holding which, in turn, owns Finaf which controls the two industrial branches: Angelini Chemical Companies, chaired by another daughter of Francesco, Maria Francesca, and the Bertani Domains wine branch.
The Angelini Group owns very popular pharmaceutical brands including Tachipirina and Moment and Tantum, has a consolidated turnover of 1.6 billion euros and has 30 different companies (in 21 countries) and 6,000 employees.
The diversification of the group also extends to the sector winegrowing (Bertani Domains) And perfumery (Angelini Beauty).
