Italian exports continue to grow driven by manufactured industrial goods and by the push of some specific territorial areas. Taking the first nine months of the year as a comparison period, between 2010 and 2014 Italian exports of manufactured goods increased by 46.7 billion euros (+19.8%).

In second place in the period January-September 2010-14 are the provinces characterized by the dominant presence of foreign multinationals, mainly in the pharmaceutical sector, as in the case of Latina, Frosinone, Bari and Ascoli Piceno, but also in the mechanical sector, as in the case of Florence and Massa Carrara. These six provinces alone contributed 6.9 billion more to our manufacturing exports, equal to 14.1% of the global increase of the growing provinces. A figure that makes us understand how important reforms of the labor market, bureaucracy and civil justice are in attracting foreign investments capable of creating employment, added value and exports. Florence (which takes advantage of the impulse coming from the big fashion brands), Latina, Ascoli Piceno and Massa Carrara are the provinces of this group that recorded the strongest increases in the export of manufactured goods between January-September 2010 and 2014 .
