very kind,
With the present, the Pharmaceutical Representatives, well aware of the state of difficulty facing the entire national health system due to the increase in infections in this second pandemic phase and the daily problems that all health professionals in charge of protecting public health have to face, intend to voluntarily make themselves available to the various hospitals belonging to the North West Tuscany Local Health Authority in order to implement various actions that are of support and support to the entire health system. Already in the first phase, our colleagues in Emilia Romagna carried out voluntary work in collaboration with the Regional Health Department. We know that even in Umbria the healthcare companies have asked, and colleagues have accepted, a voluntary collaboration that could give some relief to rather difficult situations. In addition, most of us informants have a degree in Biological Sciences or Pharmacy, which is why we are dealing with qualified people who could be employed in various ways, eg. by responding to call centers or at the various checkpoints for access control or even in contact tracing, even when swabbing.
We realize that we are going through a historical period that is perhaps unique in its kind (and we hope it will remain so) for this reason if on the one hand with the "classic" work the informant acted as the privileged interlocutor of the clinician and pharmacist to provide valid and constant updating and support above all for the appropriate use of the various drugs, on the other hand we FSIs are also and above all citizens who, by virtue of their constant collaboration with the NHS, have the skills and abilities to also voluntarily provide valid support to all operators in the sector. Furthermore, it should be added that they have been trained by the respective pharmaceutical companies in matters of safety, strict compliance with procedures, the constant use of PPE and the implementation of all that is necessary for the purpose of preventing a hypothetical contagion.
We therefore intend to volunteer our collaboration to help the NHS as much as possible to stem the ongoing Sars-Cov-2 pandemic.
While awaiting your reply, we send our best regards
The President
