AIFA. Agreement between the regions on Saitta for the presidency

The agreement between the Regions on the presidency of the Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) arrives. The Regions, according to what has been learned, propose the appointment of Antonio Saitta, regional councilor for health of Piedmont and so far coordinator of the Health Commission of the Conference of the Regions, to the presidency of Aifa.

Agreement on Saitta's name was reached at today's [Dec. 20] meeting of governors.

Alessia Grillo Secretary General of the Conference of Regions

(Regioni.it 3519 – 12/20/2018) Alessia Cricket from 2019 he will be the new Secretary General of the Conference of the Regions and will also assume the position of director of Cinsedo, the Interregional Center for Studies and Documentation.

"It was a shared choice that found unanimous consent", explained - at the end of the assembly of Cinsedo (Interregional Center for Studies and Documentation) and the meeting of the Conference of the Regions - the president Stefano Bonaccini.

“We wanted to continue, after Marina Principe's mandate, on the path of enhancing internal resources. The secretariat of the Conference and Cinsedo - added Bonaccini - have always found, in fact, a high degree of satisfaction with the work assured in recent years. We then wanted to make a choice in the name of continuity so that the work started by Marcello Mochi Onori, then continued by Marina Principe, could continue. I am sure – he concluded – that the new Secretary General will be able to guarantee staff work, focusing above all on the wealth of skills existing in the interregional center and in the autonomous Regions and Provinces”.

Even the new secretary, Alessia Cricket, considers the assignment received as “the recognition of a work of the structure. A new phase is beginning for us: 2019 must be an important year for the Regions, the new path for autonomy is starting, we will see with what result, there is the new health pact". In short, “there are many new features. I really hope that a new path will open up, I hope to be able to bring the Regions back to the center and I hope that 2019 will be the turning point for the Regions from an institutional point of view".

Alessia Grillo graduated in 1996 in Rome, at the Law Faculty of the "La Sapienza" University, where she then attended the master's degree in information technology law and legal informatics. He passed the state exam for the qualification to practice the legal profession. She is the mother of two children.

Up to now, he has held the role of manager in the Secretariat of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces where he was responsible for affairs and institutional reforms, local authorities, personnel policies, bargaining and organization.

During these years he has followed for the Conference of Regions, among other things, the Reform of the Public Administration, the Interinstitutional Table on the costs of politics, the Table on administrative simplification and the one on the implementation of the Reform of Title V of the Constitution. He is responsible for the technical secretariat of the Regions-Health Sector Committee, provided for by article 47 of Legislative Decree 165 of 2001 and is a member of the technical working groups on bargaining at the Ministry of Public Administration as well as at Aran.
